As a Senior Designer of a ISO/TS 16949 certified Tool and Die company specialised in Deep Draw, Progressive and Transfer Dies, I have worked on numerous customer CAD models of project development process to blend the knowledge of Tool and Die prospective. I possess hands on experience in high quality tool and die designing, efficient, cost effective and manufactureable  product designs.

 

I was trained in the Tool and Die profession in a High Tech DIN EN ISO 9001 certified German High Precision Tool Manufacturing Company in a very methodical manner to handle very complex operations. I started my carrier as a machinist and with my practical experience, background education, innovative skillful abilities and aptitude in grasping techniques I earned and enjoyed of becoming one of the leading designers among the design teams in Germany and later in Canada.

One of my latest designs, i.e. fully mechanical in die assembly process of two parallely stamped parts provided a customer an 80%(=$1.00) cost reduction solution over the previous supplier with the annual minimum production of 2 million parts. This highly satisfied customer’s returned with a similar second project and it is in progress.

 

I am fluent in various CAD packages especially in the latest SolidWorks, PDMworks and Logopress3. Being a Certified SWx Expert / Professional, I’m proficiently using SolidWorks in my daily design work and to issue detailed drawings since year 2000.
